We love BBQ and have spent years practicing and developing our flavours.

Our Story

As most of you know, in the UK, BBQ cooking has always been a simple Burger and Hotdog affair.

I have always wanted more than that, so I started watching videos about BBQing and this lead me down the path of Smoking and American style Backyard cooking.

To see this first hand, I started dragging my Family to BBQ events such as The Smoke and Fire Festival. This is where I stumbled upon the BBQ competitions and was Instantly hooked on the amazing flavours these competitors were making and the different levels of flavour, compared to the vendors.

So in 2020 I purchased my first cheap offset smoker and although I loved Smoking on it, it quickly became clear that I needed to up my game if I wanted to create better flavours and do longer cooks. 

In 2021 I purchased my Master built 1050 and the Backyard Smoking Bug had fully captured me.

Since then I have been experimenting with flavours and different meat cuts. Smoking and doing Family and friend BBQ's as often as I could.

As the skills have increased and the Flavours developed, more and more people would ask to sample the cooking and the Idea to create my own Backyard BBQ was born...
